Accessibilty

We do the best we can to make our website accessible to as many people as possible. We endeavour to meet W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) at priority level 2 or better (sometimes known as ‘AA’ standard). Because of the technical content of our site it is extremely difficult to achieve level 3, although we try to do this where possible. We keep abreast of the discussions about accessibility and useability.

The site has been tested on Linux, Macintosh and Microsoft Windows Operating Systems using the following browsers: Firefox, Safari, Opera, Konqueror, Seamonkey and Lynx.  As far as possible it complies with the standard W3C protocols.  The site is hosted on a Drupal Open Source Content Management System.  It is NOT optimised for Internet Explorer.

If you have any comments about the accessibility of our website, please contact us either by email to info@tinnitus.org.uk or phone us on 0114 250 9933 or by post to The British Tinnitus Association, Acorn Business Park, Woodseats Close, Sheffield S8 0TB.
